Installation instructions for FRIEZES AND DECORATIONS (recommended by us and guaranteed our product).

Please note that our friezes are intended to be placed on a smooth surface.

Before installation, friezes and decorations must be acclimatized to the temperature of the place of installation...

  • Lower the water level by 50 cm for the friezes
  • Drain Pool Water for Decorations

The surface(s) must be degreased (DEG 11degreaser) and perfectly clean before installation. Remove all dirt and other residues with an alcohol-based cleaner (methylated spirits, isopropanol).

Temperature during installation

Climatic conditions / temperatures between 15° and 24°

Foresee

Squeegee, Easy Installation Sprayer, measuring tape, cutter or scissors, a clean microfiber cloth.

  • Start the installation preferably in a corner.
  • Spray with the Easy Lay (ref. DEG 12*) on the surface.
  • Turn the frieze or decoration upside down and remove the silicone paper that protects the adhesive side.
  • Take the frieze or decoration and place it on the surface.
  • Drag the frieze or decoration and position it very precisely.
  • Take the squeegee, push the liquid out of the middle upwards and then downwards. (Maroufler).
  • Avoid the formation of air bubbles during bonding.
  • Do not pierce air bubbles to avoid damaging the frieze and liner.
  • Once the liquid is completely gone, the adhesive side of the frieze or decoration adheres and attaches to the support. Drying time 48 hours, with a recommended temperature between 15° and 24°.
  • After installing the frieze or decoration, it is best to apply a PVC gasket (AQUAMAX) to the corners and around the skimmers on the edges in order to obtain a perfect seal. For decorations, apply a PVC gasket to the edges (AQUAMAX, on sale on our website).


After 48 hours of drying time, raise your water level.

Angles/Curves

Whenever possible, start the pause in the middle of an angle. For the following ones, you can make a vertical cut of the frieze in the middle of the corner thanks to the PVC plate (provided in the installation kit), used to protect your liner during cutting. Superimpose the rest of the frieze by a few millimetres and then continue the pause as normal.

You can reinforce each fitting with an Aquamax PVC gasket (for sale on the website).

Maintenance

The temperature of the water in the pool must not exceed 30°.

Film made of cadmium-free, polymer, calendered, 70 micron PVC, coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. Matte appearance for cold lamination.
